On recent travels we enjoyed a most delightful evening at Muchacho Alegre! My friend and I are both Mexican food aficionados. I have been to Mexico on several occasions, but she in particular has traveled to both popular and remote locations in Mexico for many years now and so is very familiar with authentic Mexican cooking.
Muchacho Alegre is a fantastic, authentic, family-run, Mexican restaurant. There isn't usually a long wait for food, it has a nice environment, and the prices are good. The food is absolutely amazing, so if you're in the area, Muchacho Alegre is definitely worth paying a visit to.

Right from the beginning, the salsa was excellent, the chips warm, and refills on the salsa were provided graciously (re another reviewer's comment, with no additional charge). We felt the prices were extremely reasonable, and our server personable and professional. If we are ever remotely close again we will definitely go out of our way for a return visit!!
