I rated it a 2 star only for the fact that there are a few good people there The rest I would fire them all the hospitals per merrily run by nurse practitioners They take their sweet time to give you results I'm not used to this sort of service I went for a sleep study and they're telling me it takes 2 weeks where I'm from and the answer would have been given in 3 days 1 of the registry nurses told me she was from Georgia and she would have had an answer in 4 days I went up there for a prior test before surgery and I have a surgery in rono tried to get them to find out if the test that I did there would be good for Roanoke Virginia After twisting some arms that they did called down to Roanoke but it was not forthcoming I think they should be a little more professional with Their health care system
I found it dirty and ill prepared for care. Also,the nurses in Cardio Rehab rude and overbearing.
Hate is a strong word; nevertheless, I sought help from the ER due to vertigo and stress. Upon checking in and thus incurring a 300 dollar and change bill, I was told that I could have one turkey sandwich by a GREAT doctor. When I still felt dizzy and wanted to buy another turkey sandwich, I was told firmly that the ER was not a restaurant. Then a woman dressed in a long blue jean skirt with her hair in a style similar to many fundamentalist Pentecostal religions said she would call the police. I left. The police came to where I had walked to buy the sandwich, checked my ID and talked for a while. Then, the bill shows up. Be careful of this hospital as my experience shows they are into religious conversions and treating the client as they wish.
The first problem was deceiding where to go. I was close to Lexington and went to the hospital. From the moment we arrived we had excellant service and excellant care. No one wants to return to a hospital but I will always remember the excellant staff. The ED nurses were as good as could be.
I was traveling from SC to upsate NY and my wife got very ill.
I have received excellent care at this facility. I have had two sleep studies with ongoing follow-up, emergency room care, lab tests, cardiac diagnostics and imaging, and a mammogram. Everyone has always been very pleasant and professional. Once when I went to the ER for chest pain, my husband was extremely upset and I asked the nurse to check on him. She did and he said she was sweet and reassuring. She brought back to sit with me during the tests. As with any facility or business, if one is pleasant and polite, most likely one will be treat in a like manner. For a small rural community, I think we have an excellent local hospital.
