A place to walk along the river, go fishing or have a picnic... there is one soccer field... but signs currently say to stay off the field. For those who enjoy trees...there are some walnuts out towards the boat ramp. Also there are hickory, pawpaws and sassafras along the river.
A real nice park that you can have a picnic or set beside the river and fish or put a boat in and go up the river fishing for the day they also have a little museum and some walking trails
Beautiful natural setting. Large open field for sports and short trail circumventing the island. Boat launch and overlook of the falls.
Great place for some dinner on a picnic blanket. Kenney's Chicken and some random runners coming up, dropping their clothes and swimming upstream. Good times. The best part though was my wife sitting next to me.
Most of this park is a small island in the middle of the Maury river. However, there is also a pavilion and restrooms to the right of the entrance to the park. There are also a few picnic tables, benches, and a couple of grills on the grounds as well.
