The Cook Out restaurants in different cities are similar. You can get a decent meal with a sandwich, sides and drink for about $5. What makes the Lexington Cook Out a little better is that the seating area is spacious and nice, and it tends not to be too crowded. The service is quick, the staff is nice and the food, if not exceptional, is good for the price.
The order was wrong (left food off) then we still had to ask for items that should come with our food. The food was awful unlike the Cook Out in Waynesboro, VA. The staff seemed as if they didn't know anything. Definitely not going back.
Great food and service. I had one small issue with my food that they fixed right away and refunded my money. A star removed because it was dark inside and whatever they use to clean the floors left them very slick.
They are cheaper than most fast food restaurants with similarly sized portions. The employees were smiling and friendly. It was an all around great experience.
