This is a nice motel the rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable. Good breakfast. Great staff. I would stay again.
Nice enough overall. The bathtub was in need of replacement (it's been around awhile), but I didn't have any issue using it. I wouldn't have any problem staying here again, but the room needs to be updated a bit. Though they do offer all the usual amenities: refrigerator, microwave, TV (tho the lower channels were fuzzy), wi-fi, free breakfast, etc.
They saved the day. I was on a road trip from Florida to Maine with everything I own in my car. Could not find any hotel on any exit in Virginia due to conferences and parent's weekend in college town. Best Western had one room left and they were like an oasis in the desert. Very compassionate and accommodating. Appreciate their customer service very much.
Great staff and clean rooms. Bed was very comfortable. Had fresh fruit and berries at breakfast--as in blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries! Made my waffle taste great!
Overall, hotel was good, especially for the price. Good location, everything was clean and worked properly. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. Only issue is unfortunately common to mid and lower level hotels. My non smoking room had a feint smoke odor. Initially I thought it was smoke from outside, but I did not see anyone smoking outside. I had already settled in, it was very late and I figured other rooms would be similar. In the morning, when few other guest were there, I concluded the odor really was in the room. The hotel makes a point at check-in to have you sign you will not smoke in the room and a cleaning fee would be charged. I wish this hotel, and many others, would be more serious about enforcing the no smoking policy and take action about cleaning the rooms of smoke odors.
