I would have given this five stars if the bathroom had been cleaner. The soap dish was dirty, the fixtures had dirty, soapy fingerprints, and there was hair in the sink and the tub. The main room had obviously not been dusted in a long time, but the bed was clean, which is what I care about the most.
Very clean, appealing appearance. Safe environment. Room was next to the elevator and did not hear any noise in room. Bed is comfortable, slept great. Hotel room was clean and nice appearance. Breakfast was average. Staff was friendly. Reserved room from website using cell phone and check in was a breeze. Check out was effortless. I would stay there again.
Our stay was enjoyable, felt at home. The staff was personable and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. There was plenty of breakfast options.
We had a room on the second floor with 2 queen beds, it was very clean and had a microwave and fridge which was very nice. I thought it was a very cute touch that they had a little rubber duck in the bathroom with the towels. The pool was nice, I especially liked that it was indoor/outdoor since it was raining during our stay. Breakfast was complimentary and there was a large variety of foods provided, my husband would have liked to see some bacon or sausage included but for free breakfast we had no complaints. I really liked the 24hr beverage station and they had bowls of apples and oranges available in the lobby as well prior to breakfast. It was pet friendly which is why we chose it since we were traveling with our dog. We are planning another visit to Lexington in Sept. and we definitely plan to stay at this hotel again. The staff was very friendly and attentive and it was close to the historic downtown.
There was a nice assortment of food available at breakfast - even gluten-free items were available! My only negative comment about breakfast is that the scrambled eggs were too salty.
I will definitely stay here again, and hopefully next time I will have time to enjoy more amenities, like the pool and the fitness center. They even have a laundry room available, and complimentary beverages/snacks 24-hours a day! Thanks for a nice stay!
Gorgeous hotel, VERY clean, large rooms, can’t beat the price. The 5 of us (2 adults + 3 kids) shared a room with 2 double beds and a sofa bed. The room was very spacious and very clean. Free hot breakfast that included pretty much everything you can think of (eggs, waffles, cereal, granola, yogurt,fruit, bacon, juices, muffins...etc) ....the only small disappointement was that the bread products (bagels, muffins...) weren’t fresh at all - most were very hard and stale. But everything else was excellent.
The room was surprisingly clean for a pet-friendly hotel - a definite "plus."
Overall, this was a pleasant place to spend the night as a break between a two-day road trip. I was surprised at the number of amenities available, and the willingness of the (very friendly) staff to accommodate my needs.
