Check in was not great took way to long to check in once checked in got our room wrong so had to go and fix it but the management did fix the problem with no issue. Room was clean but very out dated. Food was ok. Very quite room. Comfortable bed. This was a good hotel but not for the rate. The rate for this hotel is way too much for what you get. Over all nice hotel but VERY outdated.
The staff was extremely friendly. The location is very convenient to downtown Lexington. The rooms were clean, but the bathrooms were apparently designed by someone *very* short.
Kody was incredibly personable and delivered exemplary customer service. Well maintained rooms and excellent cleanliness. Highly recommend them and all other dominion lodging properties.
The whole place stinks like dirty pool. Sheets,towels, and pool towels all stunk the same.wall paper was coming off walls. The shower rod was falling off the wall. Paint chipping on bathroom ceiling. Full length mirror in room was falling off wall just waiting for a little bump. Got off elevator to find total construction zone. Ants in the breakfast area. The toilet was filthy when we got there. Water went from burning hot to cold in shower for no reason.
They don't deserve one star - should be -1. Do not stay here....beds are awful; remodeling makes the halls and rooms have an awful smell. Back to the beds - my 75 year old mother and I both had severe back pain from these mattresses. I had a 3 night reservation but had to leave early...could not stay in that bed one more night. I had to get a good night's sleep so I could drive home. I made a reservation at another hotel. This hotel would not refund my money for the night I did not stay. They are greedy and have no customer service skills. How can you not care about the comfort of your guests? I mean, really? I didn't stay but you feel entitled to keep my money? Absolutely shameful. I travel to Lexington at least 2 times a year. I will never stay in this hotel. You need to make this right - my mother paid for this hotel and I am sick to think that she couldn't be comfortable and they don't care. The general manager needs to learn how to make sure the guests are happy. If you want repeat customers you better learn how to do your job. You lost this customer unless you decide to make it right. I am completely disgusted with this whole experience.
