It was a good hotel! The staff was very kind, and the room and hotel itself was very clean. Quite the enjoyable stay.
Front desk staff was very pleasant! We came for one night to visit natutal bridge. It was perfect for our kids having warm breakfast and the pool. The room was clean. The beds were a bit hard for our liking but nothing too bad for a night or two. Will stay again!
For the price of our room, I expected the carpet to be clean and in tip top shape. Sadly this was not the case and the manager was unconcerned about it's condition. Since it was late and other hotels were full, we did not have a choice. We were pleased that a hot tub was available until we tried to utilize it. The inside area was stifling and the smell of chlorine overwhelming. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre at best even though our expectations were higher based upon the Carlson brand. Finally the pictures above the beds had been removed and the resulting holes left uncovered. Our traveling companions had the same complaints with their room and like us took pics of the carpet. Avoid at all costs!
Paid top Dollar for a low end motel. The rate kept going up because of events in the area. There was no value for the money. If you have other choices take them.
Hotel was under room renovations which isn't a big deal. But they started working at 8:00am. Constant hammer banging!! Hotels are meant for travelers to sleep and check out is not until 11. I drove for 13 hours that day and checked in at midnight,and couldn't sleep past 8:00 because of the banging. When brought up to the front desk I asked for some type of compensation for the inconvenience, they said there was nothing they could do.
